Overview
Developmental coordination disorder (DCD), also known as developmental dyspraxia, is a neurodevelopmental condition. DCD can also be accompanied by difficulties with organization, attention, working memory, and time management. DCD can co-occur with other conditions, such as ADHD and ASD. The use of virtual reality and artificial intelligence is being explored as a potential tool for diagnosis and treatment. The National Institutes of Health are providing funding for research into DCD.
